Honestly, y’all, I’ve gotten better medical care in the damn Cayman Islands than I have in the United States.

To get examined, diagnosed, & treated for a kidney infection it cost….wait for it….$54 American dollars. $54. Fifty effing four dollars. And I didn’t have to wait all day or anything. They also didn’t care that I was an American citizen, they were giving citizens of the Caymans the same treatment and pricing as they were to the people from the United States, Brazil, Canada…you get the idea.

And I didn’t even have to open a secret bank account or anything to get treated!

  23. randomness-from-wi said: Just a regular damn checkup for me costs $150-200. And my insurance only covers 5% until I reach the deductible. So it would take a visit to the Dr. every 2 weeks to even reach the deductible.
