Also, Joe basically gets a pass from me forever because of his work on the VAWA.

I can’t hate on a guy that works on something that I have had to use to help keep me alive.

He says some random shit sometimes, but I can’t help but having anything other than love for that guy. Hey Joe, thanks for at least attempting to help people that need things like VAWA to stay alive and safe get a little bit of said safety.

The 'About Me' Section

Grumpy feminist stripper (more than one kind of stripping, even!), professional Goodwill shopper, junk whisperer, among other things.

What can I say about myself that doesn't sound like something a PR person wrote in an attempt to attract people to read what I say? I'm Ginger. Blogger, activist, feminist, advocate, lots of other things that end in '-ist'. All around kick ass chick. I post all kinds of random things that catch my attention or interest me. Expect posts about stripping, feminism, social issues, lupus/other chronic illnesses on a regular basis...and sometimes I will throw in photos of cute animals for good measure. I am a walking contradiction (in more ways than one), and I'm ok with it. I'm gonna keep this simple, because typing out all kinds of things to make myself seem cool isn't really doin' it for me lately.

I'm a fucking survivor. No matter what, I am a survivor.
