I have like 100x more love for you after this post. So many people just see cute pics and say that they want one with no research. They take time and effort, they will be a kid for life, and they all have a different personality.

And yeah, their personalities are so…individualistic. My guy has the typical mischief/needy parts of his personality, but being in rescue so long & not being able to get all the daily stimulation that he needed has made his desire to cling to me 1000x stronger.

He’s a happy little guy…but I spent years researching different kinds of large birds & visited dozens of rescues before finding him & clicking with him on a personality level.
